Dr Sarah Darwin originally trained as an artist and then as a scientist, specialising botany. She spent several years living and working in the Galápagos Islands and studying the Galápagos tomatoes there. More recently she has been part of a project in Berlin studying nightingales. Sarah is the great-great-granddaughter of Charles Darwin and works at the Museum Für Naturkunde, Berlin. She is the co-author of Evolution.
