The It’s Up to Us Show

Join world history author Christopher Lloyd on a visually stunning story of global climate change through the eyes of 33 different artists from all over the world. Based on It's Up to Us: Building a Brighter Future for Nature, People & Planet (The Children's Terra Carta)

About the Show:

  • Join world history author Christopher Lloyd on a visually stunning story of global climate change covering 4 billion years of Earth’s history, based on It’s Up to Us – a collaboration with The Prince’s Foundation with a foreword provided by HRH The Prince of Wales and published to coincide with COP26 in 2021.

  • Using his coat of many pockets containing everyday objects, Christopher will talk about how it is up to us to help our planet and what we can do in our everyday lives to halt the climate crisis and promote sustainability.
  • Christopher will bring along an exhibition of the stunning illustrated spreads from the book that can be displayed around the venue. The exhibition will be interactive as each image will have a QR code leading to a short film of the illustrator talking about their inspiration.
  • It’s Up to Us is sustainably printed in the UK and Chris will also talk about making sustainable purchasing choices.

How it Works:

This show is available to book for schools and as a public event from November 2021 to October 2022.

  • The event can be in person or online, venues simply need facilities to show a PowerPoint and a microphone for larger spaces. The virtual show can be run on Zoom, Teams or any preferred virtual learning platform.
  • Participants will join the video call using their own smart devices or as a group via a whiteboard  projector. Ideal for all ages 6-106.
