Sam Rennocks

Hi, I’m Sam Rennocks – an illustrator born and raised in Leicester. Shortly after I was born my Dad took me out on the hospital balcony and held me up to see Filbert street, the old home of Leicester City Football club. He was then chastised by the midwife.

I graduated from The University of Plymouth in 2010 and started Illustration as a full time career in the last two years. It has been a wild ride and I never thought I could make a career out of something I’ve been doing since I was a child!

I have worked with clients worldwide in book publishing, magazines and children’s games, to mention only a few! My biggest inspirations are ancient history and our beautiful natural world. In my free time I love reading, playing my guitar and getting stressed about Leicester City.
