Hi, I’m Mark Ruffle and I’m an illustrator and book designer living in the UK. I’ve drawn for as long as I can remember, using pens, pencils and paint, sticking my pictures all over my bedroom walls. Now I’m lucky enough to have a studio at home where I work. I studied graphic design at university, then worked in Oxford for a publisher, before going freelance. I’ve worked for myself for over 20 years. I draw digitally, mostly non-fiction children’s books. I enjoy drawing anything but especially people, animals and anything to do with science. A book I drew has even been sent into space!
